Kh.M. Shchubelka, O.T. Oleksyk, T.M. Hanych

Abstract

Article contains modern aspects on the pathology of locomotor system in patients suffering from diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2, in particular, pathophysiologic mechanisms of bone tissue damage by hyperglycemia, as well as evaluation of the risk for pathologic fractures based on the data of world scientific literature.
